Think Tanks Gathering in Al-Baidar’s discussion session

Under the title (Think Tanks – Opportunities and Challenges), Al-Baidar Center for Studies and Planning held a dialogue session in which a number of issues were discussed in relation to the work of think tanks

and research centers. In the session, the attendees discussed a number of prominent topics; emphasizing the need for think tanks to enjoy the scientific approach in serving their objectives and the distribution of work roles among them, and the importance of conveying their voice to the decision-maker. The attendees also discussed the lack of a special legislation for think tanks, as well as the need to distinguish between the outcomes of these centers and focus on the results and the realistic

impact of their outputs. At the end of the session, the attendees stressed the need for continued communication and meetings with each other in order to integrate in the projects and actions.
