Al-Baidar Center hosts a symposium to analyze the effects of changing global geopolitics
Al-Baidar Center for Studies and Planning hosted a symposium on “The Future of Planning in the Middle East” (Geopolitical changes in the global scene and their impacts on Iraq and the region). Mr. Luqman Abdul Rahim Al-Faili, the Republic of Iraq’s ambassador to Germany, attended the seminar. In terms of its political, economic, and security dimensions, Ambassador Al-Faili described the signs of geopolitical change in the world as well as the nature of its effects on our region in general and Iraq in particular. The attendants participated in the topic by asking questions related to the nature of global changes and the extent of their impact on Iraq.
The symposium also discussed the value of strategic planning in addressing both the causes and consequences of change as well as the nature of addressing issues and challenges that Iraq is currently experiencing.
