With Official and Academic Attendance: Al-Baidar Center for Studies and Planning Held Its Annual Conference Entitled: “Transformation Towards a Flexible Economy in Iraq”
On Saturday, November 16, 2024, Al-Baidar Center for Studies and Planning held its annual conference, titled “Transition Towards a Flexible Economy in Iraq,” at Al-Rasheed Hotel in Baghdad. The event brought together state decision-makers, scientific, academic, and cultural elites, as well as representatives from both the public and private sectors.
The conference focused on exploring mechanisms to transform the Iraqi economy into a resilient system capable of adapting to international and regional changes and managing crises and emergencies effectively. Discussions were structured around three main sessions, which featured insights from decision-makers and specialists.
• The first session was titled “The Identity of the Iraqi Economy After 2003.”
• The second session examined “The State’s Economic Policies Towards a Flexible and Sustainable Economy.”
• The third session highlighted “The Role of the Banking and Technology Sectors in Building a Flexible Economy.”
Each session included valuable interventions and comments from attendees, who presented significant ideas for shaping future strategies to build an Iraqi economy capable of withstanding crises and various challenges.
The center announced that it would publish the conference outcomes, along with the most notable ideas and recommendations, at a later date.
